A footpath close to the Hotel leads to the delightful
market town of Keswick, about a 20 minute walk. Once there
you will find shops selling everything for the outdoor
enthusiast as well as picture galleries, cafes and craft
shops. The Teapottery, Lesiure Pool and Cars of the Stars
Museum are all good fun or you can take a launch for a
trip around the lake. Why not get off at one of the landing
stages and take a pleasant walk back to Portinscale through
some enchanting scenery.
